Compassionate Therapy for Anxious Women & Perfectionists in Lafayette, CO
Find relief from anxiety, OCD, intrusive thoughts, people-pleasing, and the pressure to be perfect
You’re capable, insightful, and used to figuring things out, but lately your mind feels like it’s working overtime.
Maybe you notice a steady hum of anxiety beneath everything you do. Perhaps your mind fill with scary intrusive thoughts or OCD that feel too frightening to share, or carrying the generational trauma of what you promised yourself you’d never pass down.
Therapy is a place to set down the impossible standards you’ve been carrying and finally breathe.
With me, therapy means slowing down, uncovering the old wounds and patterns that fuel perfectionism, and using approaches like AEDP to build safe, healing connection, EMDR to reprocess painful memories, and ERP and mindfulness to ease the grip of OCD and intrusive thoughts.
Together, we’ll explore not just how to quiet the noise, but where it came from, creating space for healing and a more grounded, authentic way of being.
Welcome.
I’m Megan (she/her). I’m a therapist, mother, wife, and friend, devoted to creating spaces of real connection. I know how heavy it can feel to always try to be the “perfect mom” while juggling the weight of anxiety, depression, or intrusive thoughts. Therapy, to me, is a place where the parts of you that feel messy, too much, or not enough are met with gentleness. A space where grief and joy can sit side by side, and where you don’t have to have all the answers.
Research consistently shows that the strength of the therapeutic relationship is one of the most reliable predictors of healing. This affirms what I know to be true: healing isn’t something we do alone - it happens in safe, steady connection.
